Surprise BDay & NOLA to SoBe

I couldn't kick off the 3rd month of 2019 any better! A surprise birthday party on the first day of the month and an exciting photo shoot with three lovely ladies to set up a great week. I went from catching this birthday guy off guard and celebrating with a masquerade party for his 25th Birthday to helping climb life guard stations, and capturing some candid and posed shots of some beautiful ladies from New Orleans. This past week was fun, exciting and busy and I'm ready to talk about two of my latest shoots with you all today.

This family is full of fun, laughs, and good times. Whether a birthday party, baby shower, or even a super bowl party, the Amador-Cruz tribe are always there to show out and turn up! This time the special occasion was for Dago's 25th Birthday and the family decided to host a masquerade party at a beautiful venue located at Birdside Banquet Hall. Walking up the stairs and threw the doors, you're greeted by big, silver "25" Balloons and a pic collage that displays a timeline of the birthday boy. Upon Dago's arrival some people were worried that the surprise was ruined but as soon as he walked in, he heard the words "SURPRISE" and his daughter ran up to him to give him a hug. Shortly after, family members and friends sung happy birthday and greeted him with hugs and kisses. Later on in the party The Cruz Kids awarded Dago with a special plaque honoring him as a Man of God, great husband, wonderful father and an excellent business man. From waving party lights, taking shots (the drinking form), putting on masks, and listening to a 2000s Hip-Hop/R&B playlist, this family had an amazing celebration and I was there to capture it all through photographs.

Even though they were from New Orleans, these ladies brought the heat to this SoBe photo shoot and it couldn't have been more fire. I had a great time taking pictures for this wonderful trio of Diana, Elsa and Biancy. Diana and Elsa are certified personal trainers and the creators of Latina Athletics LLC and Biancy is an aspiring and upcoming professional model. They came to Miami to slay, not to play (that much) and they were busy and active during their trip while here in Miami. We decided to shoot on a beautiful and sunny Tuesday afternoon on Ocean Drive out on Miami Beach. The Latina Athletics duo were sporting a red and blue top with matching bottoms and Biancy was rocking a vibrant top with a floral skirt. After posing together in front of palm trees, taking candid shots and getting their own solo shots in the sand, I helped the girls climb up an abandoned life guard post where we finished the shoot on a great note.
