What's up, what's up, what's up readers? How has 2021 treated you so far? Before you answer that question (and you really don't have to answer it), think about this year in 'Quarters' as if we were playing Basketball or Football. I could only speak for myself, and even though there's been changes in all of the areas in my lif, both good and bad, and we're still going through a pandemic, I could say that I'm winning my '1st Quarter' of 2021 by a healthy margin and I'm going into the '2nd Quarter' strong and ready to build my lead even further. Since the first week of January I've been booked and busy and I thank God for it all. Whether capturing photo shoots for upcoming birthdays, being on a boat for a birthday party to capture the moments of for clients and their friends, being on land and capturing events, or simply helping out a model with their portfolio building, this start of the year has been a great one so far.
What I love about the beginning of the year is the chance and opportunity to either break bad habits and start new ones or continue the good habits you had throughout the previous year(s). Every year I sometimes seesaw on those choices but this year I'm glad I could say I'm on the latter end of that statement. The ending of my 2020 was a perfect set up for the beginning of my 2021 because It helped me with the momentum I needed to continue to supply great services for the clients who need me to. I've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to update you all with the shoots and activities I've been up to but I never found the chance til earlier this week to gather my thoughts, pictures, and write it all here for my blog. With my schedule opening up and with me having more time to capture the moments, I look forward to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter of 2021 and I'm excited to record and share my journey. One thing I figured out is that it's all about your perspective and how you look at things. Every new day we're blessed with is another chance to try to not only get things right, but to be better than you were the day before. No matter if you think you're winning or losing so far in 2021, remember we're only in the first quarter of the year and it's never too late to make a comeback. I didn't want to hold up too much of your time with this blog post, but I hope I was able to keep you in the loop with what's been going on with AustinAdams Photography. As always, here are some photos over the past few months, thank you for reading and God bless.
