Hey guys and welcome to another blog post! I hope you all have been well and I'm looking forward to describing my last two shoots with my clients whom both happen to be from Kentucky. One shoot found me snapping shots in the Fontainebleau Miami hotel and hitting the streets of Wynwood and the other I strolled up and down South Pointe Park taking group shots and solo candids. Even though these two shoots were different in their own aspects, the job and purpose was still the same for me; Capturing the vision and moment for my clients.

     Up to this point, I've never shot in the Fontainebleau hotel before but after getting lost in 2 out of the 4 towers and long hallways, I definitely wished that wasn't the case. From the huge lobby located next to the bar overlooking the pool area, to the empty conference waiting halls, to the actual pool area, the hotel was filled with points of interest and beautiful settings to create some dope shots. I finally found Destiny (after calling her to find out where she was located), and as soon as we greeted each other we immediately got to work. Like some models, Destiny was easy to work with and she knew what she was doing; having her outfits on standby and knowing where/how she wanted to shoot and pose. Destiny's first outfit was a black dress, perfect for a formal themed shoot and it worked out since the setting was a 5-star hotel. After changing out of the black dress, we switched it up to a pink bikini and a yellow one where we shot on her room's balcony, outside by the pool on the pool chairs, and even out on South Beach since the hotel had a pathway leading out towards the water. Unfortunately we were ran out of light so we shot the rest of the outfits the next day in Wynwood. To start and finish the shoot, Destiny wore a white "good vibes only" T-shirt and then transitioned into a neon top with black pants to go with both fits. A diversity of looks in a span of two days? As a photographer, what more could I ask for?

     When you think about visiting Miami, you think about the nice weather, the good vibes, the contagious energy that's in the atmosphere, and the fun that you're going to have. When I saw the bridesmaids get out of their Uber with their matching yellow outfits while the bride was in her white, I knew this shoot was going to filled with all of those qualities. After meeting the ladies and trying to learn names, we were ready to start the the bridal party shoot at South Pointe Park. We made our way over to our first spot not too far from the fountains located in the middle of the park to take group and sorority photos. From there we were able to get a quick picture of the bridal party sitting on one of the fountains (they were in their swimwear so it worked out) and shortly after the ladies began to hype and "gas up" the bride as I focused on her solo portraits. The energy the bridesmaids were giving the bride sustained into the group poses and candid shots that we captured shortly after. Due to the humidity, we decided the last spot should end on the beach with some more group and solo shots in and out of the water. Helping the ladies get in formation for the group picture was easy but capturing the chemistry they displayed on the beach was even easier. As we were wrapping up I wanted a few more shots of the bride, so with compliments and jokes, the bridesmaids were able to get a laugh and smile from the bride once again and I was thankful to capture it all on camera and end the shoot on a great note.
